Overview

Oak Lodge School is seeking an inspiring English Lead Teacher to help shape outstanding learning for young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. As part of Barnet Special Education Trust, you’ll develop your leadership in a coaching-focused environment with dedicated leadership time, strong HLTA support, small classes, therapeutic practice, and access to specialist facilities. You’ll lead literacy and communication across the school, oversee English accreditation, coach colleagues, and help students make exceptional progress—while benefiting from excellent professional development, wellbeing support and clear progression opportunities.

Personal attributes

Qualified Teacher Status and significant experience of working with SEND learners within a specialist setting is essential. We are also looking for the following:

Salary & Benefits

Salary from £46800 to £56154 per year plus SEN Allowance and TLR

(MPR/UPR Outer London)
